New Rooted Series: Our Beliefs as UMC

This Sunday, May 7 we will begin a new series for Rooted: Spiritual Formation (formerly known as Adult Education). This series, happening from May through June will be discussing “Our Beliefs as UMC.” We will be covering topics such as sin, the Wesleyan concept of grace, and liberal vs. conservative theology. Rooted happens every Sunday 10 minutes after worship, both in-person and online. For more information, check out the Rooted page here:

Children’s Programming Survey: What would you like to see?

We are planning programming for children for the next year. Parking Update for April 2, 2023

The streets have been plowed around the church so street parking should be available, but the Pratt parking lot has not been plowed and the driveway is blocked with snow. Please park on the street if you’re planning to attend in person today. Happy Sunday!

MN FoodShare Month: Supporting Glendale Food Shelf

Minnesota FoodShare Month is happening now through April 9. For the month of March, we will be taking donations for longtime community partner Glendale Food Shelf. Visitors to the food shelf continue to increase and the demand for fresh produce, healthy proteins, culturally familiar options and nutritious staples grows simultaneously. Due to the winter storm in progress, PPUMC is closed on Wednesday, February 22 and Thursday, February 23. PPUMC Welcomes Dr. Marcus Simmons as Minister of Music

PPUMC is delighted to welcome DR. MARCUS SIMMONS as the new Minister of Music! Dr. Marcus is a conductor, voice teacher, worship coach, and Emmy-winner. Dr. Simmons taught at Indiana State University in Terre Heute, Indiana, was founding Conductor and Artistic Director of the Hoosier Community Chorus, and Music Program Director at 1525 The Warehouse in Bloomington, IN.
