PPUMC at Pride

The 51st annual Twin Cities Pride Festival will be held at Loring Park and Parade Park in Minneapolis June 23 – 25, and will feature local BIPOC and LGBTQ+ vendors, food courts, a beer garden, and music stages. Pratt Parking Lot Unavailable Jun 16 – Sep 3

From June 16th – September 3rd, the parking lot at Pratt Elementary School will be unavailable due to construction. During this time, please park on the streets around the church, carpool or use public transportation. Annual Conference 2023 Recap

The 169th session of the Minnesota Annual Conference took place May 31-June 1, 2023 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud. Drawing on Luke 24:13-35, the theme of this year’s gathering was “Encounter. Transform. Respond. The Emmaus Experience.” We heard from Rev. New Rooted Series: Our Beliefs as UMC

This Sunday, May 7 we will begin a new series for Rooted: Spiritual Formation (formerly known as Adult Education). This series, happening from May through June will be discussing “Our Beliefs as UMC.” We will be covering topics such as sin, the Wesleyan concept of grace, and liberal vs. conservative theology. Minnesota FoodShare Month is happening now through April 9. For the month of March, we will be taking donations for longtime community partner Glendale Food Shelf. Visitors to the food shelf continue to increase and the demand for fresh produce, healthy proteins, culturally familiar options and nutritious staples grows simultaneously.
