Join us for this unique service, “Funeral for a Friend.” It will not be a “Maundy Thursday Service”, though it will fall on that day. It’s a Holy Week Service wherein we hold a Memorial Service for Jesus, hence the name (which is a title I stole from Elton John). This is something I did several years ago in another church, and it was very well received. Basically it’s a way of getting at Holy Week and Jesus’ death, but by focusing on his whole life and work.
