Hello, Beloved of PPUMC, and a happy Friday to you

Hello, Beloved of PPUMC, and a happy Friday to you! I’m coming to you today from the Magnificent City of Chicago. Because I am in Chicago this weekend, we’re doing a little experiment this Sunday. I will be joining you all via Zoom! I’ve felt there may come a day where I suddenly can’t make it on a Sunday morning (most likely due to weather), but with our Zoom option I could still join and do all the things. So we thought we’d try it once to see how it goes, so that in the event it happens last minute some time we’ll know more what works and what doesn’t, etc. So, I look forward to connecting with our Zoom community as well as all who will be there in person.

This Sunday is our last Sunday in Acts for this season, and the story there has huge implications on the early church, and The Church through space and time. This Sunday is also the last one where we’ll have a choir anthem for the season. So you don’t want to miss out! Going forward we have just 4 Sundays left in this season of the Narrative Lectionary. Information on a couple Summer preaching series will be coming soon!
