ABOUT THE PERFORMERS
The Paper Clips are a trombone quartet based in Minneapolis, MN, dedicated to connecting the threads of classical and contemporary music in fun, engaging, and informative performances for audiences of all ages. Their current program highlights exciting new music for trombone quartet from a diverse selection of modern composers.
ABOUT THE BENEFICIARY
We will be raising money for Prospect Park UMC’s Community Meal Program in partnership with Autonomous Yurt Union to provide sandwiches to unhoused individuals in Minneapolis. Autonomous Yurt Union (AYU) is a mutual aid collective providing support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis.
ABOUT THE CONCERT SERIES
Over the past 15 years, the Community Concert Series has contributed over $90,000 to a variety of community service programs and organizations across the Twin Cities. It’s a perfect combination – enjoying great music and raising money for a worthwhile cause! A delicious snack buffet follows each concert, with free parking available on-street and at Pratt Community School.
