First Saturday Folk, named for the day of their usual rehearsals, invites you to an evening sing-along of holiday classics! A pop-up market will be held after the concert, featuring jams/jellies, baked goods, and handmade wares from our congregation.
The concert is FREE to attend, with 100% of proceeds from a freewill offering going to Southeast Seniors. Proceeds from the pop-up market will go towards the work of the church.

ABOUT THE BENEFICIARY
Southeast Seniors is a neighborhood nonprofit organization founded in 1988 that coordinates services to help people 65 and older live well at home in Southeast Minneapolis.
Southeast Seniors was founded in 1988 as the Prospect Park Block Nurse Program by Wanyce Sandve and a group of Prospect Park residents. It was patterned after the St. Anthony Park Block Nurse program in St. Paul. The founders were concerned about older neighbors who could not find the help they needed to stay at home.
Southeast Seniors bills Medicare and other insurance companies for in-home nursing services. A sliding fee scale is used to benefit clients. Services such as grocery delivery, Lifeline, meals and chore services are coordinated to help older adults live well at home.
