Crows, Airborne Seeds & Jesus On the Loose

SCRIPTURE: Luke 24:1-12
Tree of Life, The Message, New Living Translation, New Life Version, First Nations Version

24 It was now sunrise on the first day of the week; at daybreak, the crack of dawn, the women came to the tomb, carrying the burial spices they had prepared. 2 They found the stone had been rolled away from the burial cave, the tomb; 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of Creator Sets Free (Jesus), the Lord Yeshua.

4 And while they were perplexed about this, puzzled, while they wondered about what had happened, suddenly, out of nowhere it seemed, two men in dazzling, shining clothes, light cascading over them, stood beside them.

5 The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, (the women were awestruck and bowed down in worship), but the men said to them, “Why do you search for the living among the dead? Why… look for the Living One in a cemetery? 6 He is not here. He is risen. He is returned to life.

Remember what He told you when He was still in the Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of [evil], and be executed. The True Human Being would be turned over to the ones with bad hearts. They would put him to death on the cross, but he would come back to life on the third day. He will rise again three days later.’”
8 The women were reminded of His words. Then they remembered Jesus’ words. They remembered that he had said this. The womenremembered what He had said.

9 So they rushed back from the tomb; they told all these things, broke the news of all this to the eleven disciples, the message bearers, and to everyone else. 10 It was Miriam from Magdala, Joanna, the Miriam mother of James… telling these things to the emissaries. Other women who were with them told these things to the followers also. They told what they saw with their own eyes.

11 But these words appeared to the men as nonsense, sounded like foolish, empty talk. The followers did not believe them. The apostles didn’t believe a word of it, thought they were making it all up.
12 But Peter jumped to his feet and ran to the tomb. Leaning in, stooped, he saw only the linen cloths, grave clothes, that’s all. And he went away to his home, marveling, wondering, surprised at what had happened. He walked away puzzled, shaking his head. He walked away wondering what had happened.
