Rose Craig Tyler is a current master’s student at the University of Minnesota studying wind band conducting. Prior to beginning her masters, Rose taught middle school band for five years in the Chicago suburbs and worked professionally as a collaborative pianist. Rose holds dual bachelor degrees in Instrumental Music Education and Piano Pedagogy from the University of Illinois. In addition to her studies at the U and work with PPUMC, Rose is the co-founder and associate director of LadyBand Chamber Winds, a new ensemble dedicated to supporting woman-identifying artists, composers, and musicians in the Twin Cities.
