All are welcome to join us for our Christmas Eve service on Wednesday, December 24, at 5:00pm.
Christmas Eve is a night where hope, light, and love comes to fruition. We gather to read and sing the story of Jesus’ birth, and then light candles as a kind of vigil for peace and justice on earth. As one UMC bishop once said, it’s also a kind of protest against the current condition of the world, as the classic carol O Holy Night sings, “Truly he taught us to love one another/ His law is love and his Gospel is peace”. So we hope you can join us on the O Holy Night, to usher in love incarnated, peace embodied, justice manifested, and the Word made flesh abiding with us.
