Our January series on non-violent engagement and empowerment continues during this Sunday’s PoP-uP worshiP as we consider creation care as an act of non-violence. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be active participants in the responsible stewardship of God’s creation, and to work for eco-justice across the planet…as well as our own backyard. United Methodist Earth Keeper Elizabeth Joncas will share her reflection, “Creation Care is In Our Roots”; there’ll be a variety of spirited, sing-along favorites like, “This Land Is Your Land”, “Blowin’ in the Wind”, plus scripture, prayer and more. We hope you’ll join us at 10 a.m.! |
