For every thing there is a season, and this is a season characterized by constant challenge. The world demands our attention in layers of need in our own homes and across the globe. So much has “come undone.” Our hope may be raveling at the edges. So, let’s remember the source of our hope, the God which is the very ground of our being. The One in whom we live and move and have our being. The Maker for whom all things are possible and nothing which seems to be so is impossible. Let us be inspired by the power which designs and creates and re-creates us – individually and as a body – which makes dry bones, dance. In this weekly visit to the Base Camp of our church community we’ll rest a bit, and we’ll reflect, refuel, and refresh our sense of reverence.
In conversation immediately following worship we seek to develop a common vocabulary for Racial Justice.
