This Sunday we celebrate the animal companions that join us as we return to the Base Camp of our church community to rest and reflect, refuel, and refresh our sense of reverence! Week after week, Sunday by Sunday, our congregation is rich with four leggeds, winged wonders and who knows who else! We are all learning and worshiping together!
This Sunday we will consider a wild little story from one of our oldest collections.
It’s about a seer and an ass.
(Spoiler alert: one of them is a donkey.)
Note the BONUS SHEETS: Animals of the Bible, at the end of today’s bulletin.

At the close of worship we spend 30 minutes together in learning and conversation as we continue to develop a common racial justice vocabulary.
This week Rev. David Anderson Hooker traces how myths about race define how we function in life, including work and school.
