The Shalom Community consists of United Methodist churches in the Twin Cities Metro area who wish to share activities and resources, in order to provide a richer and more diverse experience for individual congregations.

The Shalom Churches include:

Epworth UMC 3207 37th Ave S, Mpls (612-722-0232)
Epworth United Methodist Church, in partnership with St. James AME, presents Walk It Out: Together in the Way of Jesus, Vacation Bible school, from Aug. 16-20, 9 a.m. to noon, at Epworth. Children ages 4-12 are welcome. They will sit in, stand up and move forward in faith and in life. For more information, call 612-722-0232. Cost is $10 per family (scholarships available).

Shalom Prayer List

We invite our congregations to pray/speak to God on behalf of another Shalom Congregation. To do this we ask congregations to list the church in the bulletin and maybe having a sentence or two about the congregation or listing their concerns or joys. This becomes a way to expand the connection. Below is a suggested list of weeks and churches. The date given is the Sunday of the week.
