VOICE 2: The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid! I know you’re looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He’s not here. He has been brought back to life as he said. Come, see the place where he was lying. Then go quickly, and tell his disciples that he has been brought back to life.
VOICE 1: He is risen from the dead.
VOICE 2: “And behold he is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him. Notice! I have told you.”
VOICE 1: The women hurried away from the tomb with fear and with great joy and ran to tell the disciples.
VOICE 2: And suddenly, Jesus met them.
VOICE 1: “Shalom!” He said.
VOICE 2: They went to him, bowed down to worship him, and took hold of his feet.
VOICE 1: “Don’t be afraid,” Jesus said to them. “Go tell the others to head for Galilee. It is there they will see me.”
