“Jumpin’ Jehosafats” kick off 2019-20 community concert series – Saturday, sept. 15

PPUMC is celebrating the 10th year of our popular Community Concert Series, and this year’s season starts in grand style with crowd favorites, “Jumpin’ Jehosafats”, Saturday, September 14, 7 pm, in the historic PPUMC sanctuary. The ‘Jehosafats’ have performed across the Upper Midwest with a toe-tapping combination of Dixieland, gospel and jazz that is perfect for the entire family!

There is no admission fee, with the evening’s freewill offering supporting MN Council of Churches Refugee Services. It takes a community to resettle each new refugee arriving in Minnesota, and MCC Refugee Services is working to make sure their experience is full of welcome and hope.

Over the past nine years, the PPUMC Community Concert Series has contributed nearly $60,000 to a variety of community service programs and organizations across the Twin Cities. It’s a perfect combination – enjoying great music and raising money for a worthwhile cause!  A delicious dessert buffet follows the concert, with free parking available on-street and at Pratt Community School. We hope to see you there!
