Our January sermon series on non-violence strategies and peaceful community building concludes this Sunday with Harry Boyte’s reflection, “Re-Weaving the Social Fabric.” Our theme for the month has encouraged us to live in the world as People of YES – yes to justice, yes to hope, yes to new paradigms of working and living together as part of God’s precious and priceless creation.
In addition, you’re invited to participate in a special workshop at 11:30 a.m. entitled, “MLK’s Six Principles of Nonviolence,” led by Marie-Louise Ström. Marie is recognized internationally for her work in this field and will guide us through a closer look at MLK’s core principles and how to apply them in tense everyday situations. All are welcome – we hope to see you Sunday morning!
