Community Concert Series: Calliope

Calliope Women’s Chorus performs “The Bonds Between Us”, a concert to celebrate our connections and benefit the Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services, at Prospect Park United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 13 at 7 pm. Admission is free, with donations accepted–100% will go to Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services.

Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services works to ensure that the experience of resettling in MN is full of welcome and hope for refugees. MCC Refugee Services has expertise in providing high quality services and navigating complex systems, but depends on volunteers, churches, and community members to really make MN feel like home to our newest neighbors. This concert is part of PPUMC’s Community Concert Series, supporting our community through music and fellowship. Each month September through May, PPUMC hosts exceptional performers from across the Twin Cities, who donate their gift of song to help make our community a more vibrant and engaging place to live, work and play. Concerts are free with donations accepted to support various designated area nonprofits and community organizations.

Calliope Women’s Chorus will conclude the 2016-17 PPUMC Community Concert Series. All are welcome and invited to stay after the concert for refreshments and fellowship.
